Your First Visit to Our Kenner Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

On your first visit to our office you can, of course, expect to fill out paperwork (Unless you print it out and bring it with you).

Be prepared to discuss your current and past medical conditions, no matter how insignificant or ridiculous you think they may be. We’ll also discuss the goals that you have for your treatment. Goals are important because they help us track your progress and give you something to look forward to. Goals can be anything from picking up your children without pain to hiking through the mountains on a vacation.

Dr. Paul Tassin will review all information prior to diagnosis.

Bring your list of medicines and supplements, medical records, x-rays, MRIs and reports if you have them. Your first visit usually takes a little over an hour from the time you arrive to the time you leave. That time includes paperwork, consult and exam, x-rays if needed and treatment.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Paul Asks some important questions of interest to Kenner residents - Chiropractor Kenner Dr. Paul Asks...

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
What controls every cell, tissue and organ of your body?
DNA? Wrong. Immune system? Wrong? Hormones? Wrong. It's your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body. When a chiropractor sees a Kenner patient with say, stomach problems, we want to know why the brain is unable to properly control and regulate the stomach. Which prompts us to examine the nervous system—the focus of chiropractic care.
